Creating a Highlight Video

Highlight videos are an easy and powerful way to share the indisputable results from user tests with your project stakeholders and developers. Once you import your Morae recordings into Manager, you can create clips from any of the recordings and organize them on the Storyboard to produce a highlight video.

Highlight videos in Morae can contain Title Clips, Video Clips and Transitions. This article will summarize how to create each of these different elements and assemble them on the Storyboard for production.

To begin working with the Storyboard and other highlight video options, click on the Presenter tab inside Morae Manager.

Creating and Using Title Clips

Title Clips can be used as an introduction to the highlight video and also to create section or chapter breaks within the highlight video.

To create a custom Title Clip:

  1. Click the Create Title Clip button Create Title Clip button on the toolbar.
  2. In the Title Clip Details dialog, you can add a title and description. You can also change the background color and/or add a background image to the Title Clip.

  4. To adjust the length of time the Title Clip is displayed before moving on to the next clip, change the value in the Duration field. If you added an audio note, the duration of the Title Clip will never be shorter than the amount of time it takes for that audio note to play.
  5. When you are done customizing the Title Clip, click OK. As shown in the figure below, the Title Clip is added to the Clip Bin:
