Relive the days of your childhood with your co-workers, It's Show and Tell Day at Work! Instead of your Pet Rock or favorite book or family tortoise you can bring in your latest grown up toy, perhaps. Maybe your new gaming system or the latest gizmo you found online? Maybe some photos of the little apple of your eye or the Apple of Steve Jobs' eye? Bore or dazzle your way through the day.

If you want to be aware of penguins today is the day. This might be the day to rent that old Batman movie…you know, the one with Danny DeVito in it. Or taking a trip to the local day. Like a lot of these national "holidays" there is invariably a corporate interest group lurking behind the creation of the celebratory day. The American Pie Council has its sticky little fingers all over this one (which began in 1986)! It is meant to be a special day to set aside to bake and cook your favorite pies. But really they would rather you buy and eat one of their member's culinary creations. Let's be real! here
