Camtasia Studio 5 Tutorial: Back up a Project Automatically (AutoSave)

Learn how to automatically save a backup project file for recovery.

Back up a Project Automatically (AutoSave)

Use AutoSave to specify an interval to automatically save a backup project file for recovery. AutoSave is enabled by default.

To automatically back up your project

  1. In Camtasia Studio, choose Tools > Options > Program tab.
  2. Check the Enable AutoSave option.
  3. Enter the number of minutes between saves into the AutoSave interval field.
  4. lick OK. If you open the project after a crash or system failure, Camtasia Studio automatically recovers the last saved project file.
