Assign Profiles

There are several ways to connect presenters to profiles.

Automatic Assignment of Profiles

To ease administration of Camtasia Relay, you can choose specific profiles to automatically assign to new users. Use this option when you want all presenters have a common profile or set of profiles.

Profiles are only assigned to users when they are first added to Camtasia Relay. Changed made to the automatically assigned profiles list are not reflected on existing Camtasia Relay users.

1. Go to Settings > System Options.
2. Enable the option to Automatically assign selected Profiles to new Users.
3. Select a Profile in the dropdown list and click Add. Repeat to add all required profiles to the list.
4. Click Save Settings.

Assign Users to Profiles

Need to add mulitple users to specific profiles? The fastest way is to edit the profile to manually assign presenter accounts to individual profiles.

To assign user to profiles:

1. Go to Profiles > Overview.
2. Find a profile and click View/Edit Profile .
3. Click the Associated users tab.
   
4. Click the Edit Users link.
5. Select the users from the left column and click Add > to associate the profiles with the users.
6. Click Save.

Assign Profiles to Users

Need to add profiles to a specific user? The fastest way is to edit the specific user and manually assign profiles to that account.

To assign profiles to a user:

1. On the User page, select a user and click View/Edit User
2. In the Profiles area, select a profile from the dropdown menu and click Add.  
3. Click Save.
