Create a Profile

Once you have one or more publish destinations, you can create a profile.

To Create a New Profile

1. Click the Profiles menu.
2. Click the New Profile link.
3. Enter a descriptive title for presenters.
   

   When presenters log in to the recorder, they only see the title; the profile description is only available to view on the website.

4. Click Save.
5. Click the Edit icon in Record Settings.
   
6. Choose between Medium Quality (5 frames per second screen recording) or High Quality (10 fps). Click Save.
   

   Higher quality yields larger files. Use the High Quality for presentations with a great deal of screen activity. Medium quality (5 fps) is usually more than suitable for typical PowerPoint or Keynote presentations. If you know presenters will be using older machines with less CPU and RAM, you may want to have them record at 5 fps.

7. Select one or more encode settings (video/audio formats) and click Save.
   
   

   You can click the plus sign to add additional encode settings later.
   

8. Assign a publish destination to each encode setting.

9. If needed, click Edit to choose an account to use.
