Add a Logo to Your PowerPoint Presentation

With SnagIt, you can easily add company logos or other branding elements to your PowerPoint presentations to give them a custom, professional look. This short tutorial will show you how to capture a logo, customize it, and place it in your PowerPoint presentation.

Follow these steps:

  1. Make sure that the item that you want to capture is open on your computer desktop.
  2. Without minimizing your internet browser, open SnagIt.
  3. Select the Region capture profile from Basic Capture Profiles.

  1. Click Capture.

    The SnagIt window disappears, and you see the Web page and a finger pointer cursor with crosshairs. Region cursor (image)
  2. Left-click and drag the box around the item you want to capture.

  1. Release the mouse button to complete the capture. The capture appears in the Capture Preview window.
  2. Click the Fill tool in the Paint Tools pane.

  1. Select a color on the white in the logo to fill in all the white in your capture with your selected color.
  2. Click Edge Effects in the Task pane.
  3. Click Drop Shadow Edge in the Edge Effects task pane.
  4. Keep the default settings or customize the Drop Shadow Edge settings.

  1. Click Copy All in the Output toolbar.

  2. Open PowerPoint.
  3. Find the slide on which you want to add the captured item.
  4. On the PowerPoint Edit menu, click Paste.
