Camera Recommendations

Through our testing and Quality Assurance Process, we have found the following hardware works well with Morae.

Recommended Web Cameras:

• Logitech QuickCam Pro 5000
  Web camera with built-in microphone (USB connection). More Information

• Logitech QuickCam for Notebooks Pro
  Web camera designed for portability, with built-in microphone (USB connection).

Recommended Microphone:

• TechSmith Lapel Microphone
  Small, omni-directional microphone. More information

Digital Video (DV) Cameras:

Some of our customers are successfully using DV cameras with Morae. However, because Morae was designed to support USB web cameras and not DV Cameras, TechSmith cannot recommend a particular DV camera at this time. We will continue to work to increase our level of support for users of DV cameras.
