DubIt Audio Editor
DubIt is a free audio editing utility that allows you to quickly add voice narration and sound effects to videos and images.
Use DubIt to:
- Create online training movie clips with voice narration.
- Annotate images, screen captures and videos with absolutely no typing or image markup tools.
- Send the videos created by DubIt as an e-mail attachment or put it in a larger video project or on your Web page.
DubIt in a Nutshell
Records Audio
With DubIt, you can add audio and narration in real-time to any AVI video, BMP, GIF and JPG image file, or an image copied to the Windows clipboard.
Imports Audio
Insert a WAV audio file anywhere on your video's soundtrack to add voice, music or sound effects.
Edits Audio
Add, modify, or delete the movie soundtrack any number of times. You can extend the length of a video or image to match the length of your soundtrack, and you can optimize extended videos to make the final video file size as small as possible.
Optimized Playback
DubIt also gives you full control over the video playback size. You can select from original image size, a standard video size, or any specified width and height. Full screen videos can be played without any resizing.

To run DubIt, you need:
- Microsoft Windows 95, 98, Me, NT 4.0, 2000, and XP.
- 90 MHz processor (400 MHz recommended)
- 16 MB RAM (64 MB recommended)
- Windows-compatible sound card and microphone
- 4 MB of hard-disk space for program installation
