SnagIt Screen Capture Saves Technologists Time on Support Documentation

Kyle Snay is an online learning specialist for the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities at Minnesota State University in Mankato, Minnesota. He and his team use SnagIt to create tutorials and support documentation for the colleges, universities and library systems within the state.

He said, "I recently started a new job where many of my colleagues were relying on a screen capture program. Having been a SnagIt fan for eons, I was very disappointed when I saw the program they were using. It's just wasn't as functional, intuitive or robust."

Mr. Snay didn't want to see his colleagues using an inferior product. He stated, "I took measures into my own hands and sent a department-wide e-mail to introduce them to SnagIt, and provided a link to your demonstration. Within two days we had a purchase order ready for our department."

In addition to enjoying SnagIt's ease-of-use, Mr. Snay particularly appreciates that SnagIt can be integrated into Microsoft Office applications. He said, "It's great! It works seamlessly with Outlook, Word, and the other programs."

Now that his department has SnagIt installed, he's been asked to give a demonstration to his coworkers. He said, "I'm going back and exploring features that I never played around with, but my colleagues may be interested in using. It's amazing, like Christmas all over again."

He finished, "Thanks for making my job a lot easier. Keep up the great work."
