SnagIt Upgrade Center

There are two ways to determine if an upgrade for SnagIt is available: through the software or filling out the web form.

Note: This information does not apply if you are running a free trial of SnagIt.

If you were directed to this page from the software, you must fill out the web form.

Using the Software

Recent versions of SnagIt offer the option of checking for upgrades from the Help menu. To check for an upgrade from SnagIt select Help > Check for Upgrade from the main menu.

Using the Web Form

To use the web form, you will need to know the last version of SnagIt that you purchased. If you do not know the last version of SnagIt that you purchased, this is called base purchased version in the software and you can find this information in the About SnagIt dialog.

1. Start SnagIt.
2. Open the About SnagIt dialog by selecting menu items Help > About SnagIt.
3. The About SnagIt contains your version information. The last purchased version of SnagIt is commonly called the Based Purchased Version.
   
4. Use the information to fill out the form below.
