Change the Canvas Background Color

The background color displays in a video whenever the media and assets do not cover the entire canvas area. The default canvas background color is black.

Background example

  1. Control-click on the canvas and select Adjust Canvas or select Adjust Canvas from the canvas preview dropdown menu.
  2. The canvas controls appear at the bottom of the canvas. Camtasia dims the entire application except for the canvas area. Click the color circle to open the Colors dialog.
