Preventing Observers From Connecting to a Session

By default, Morae Recorder allows Observers to view and log markers during a session. If you prefer, you can disable this option in the study configuration. For example, you may want to prevent Observers from a session that includes sensitive or confidential information.

 

  1. In Recorder, click on the Modify Recording Details button, found near the bottom middle of the window.

  2. The Recording Details dialog box appears. Select the Capture Options tab.

  3. To prevent access to the session by Observers, uncheck the Allow Observers option.

  4. Click OK.
