To learn about folders, see <a href=\"https:\/\/www.techsmith.com\/learn\/tutorials\/screencast\/media-library\/\">Manage Content in Your Library<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Collections:<\/strong> Collections are for sharing sets of media for others to view.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Team Libraries:<\/strong> Team Libraries offer a secure way to share and manage media with specific people. Team Library members can view, upload, organize, and delete content. Enter a name for the Collection.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select a privacy level:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Only people with the link:<\/strong> Anyone with a link can view. The Collection is hidden from public search engines.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Only you:<\/strong> No one else can view the Collection. You must be signed in to your account to access it.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click <strong>Create<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"add\">Add Media to a Collection<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Add media to a Collection by completing any of the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>In My Library, click the checkboxes to select the desired media to include in the Collection. <br><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"264\" height=\"291\" class=\"wp-image-220671\" style=\"width: 264px;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.techsmith.com\/learn\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/mediacheckbox.png\" alt=\"media checkbox\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.techsmith.com\/learn\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/mediacheckbox.png 528w, https:\/\/www.techsmith.com\/learn\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/mediacheckbox-272x300.png 272w, https:\/\/www.techsmith.com\/learn\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/mediacheckbox-150x165.png 150w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 264px) 100vw, 264px\" \/><br>Click the <strong>Share to Collection<\/strong> button. The Share to Collection dialog appears. Select a Collection from the dropdown and click <strong>Submit<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In My Library, click the <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"20\" height=\"20\" class=\"wp-image-220677\" style=\"width: 20px;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.techsmith.com\/learn\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/moremediaoptionsicon.png\" alt=\"More media options icon\"> icon on the media and select <strong>Share to Collection<\/strong>. Select a Collection from the dropdown and click <strong>Submit<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"tip tip-screencast\">\n\t<p>Tip: Share Media to Multiple Collections<\/p>\n\t<p>Any single image or video in your library can be shared to as many different Collections as you&#8217;d like. If the media is ever updated, all changes will automatically cascade to any Collections to which that media has been added.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"share\">Share a Collection<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Copy a link to share all media in the Collection with others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Click the <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"20\" height=\"20\" class=\"wp-image-220677\" style=\"width: 20px;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.techsmith.com\/learn\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/moremediaoptionsicon.png\" alt=\"More media options icon\"> icon next to the Collection and select <strong>Share<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click the <strong>Copy Invitation Link<\/strong> button to copy the URL to the clipboard to paste into another location.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"join\">Join a Collection<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>If someone shares a link to a Collection with you, you can view the content without creating an account. <br><br>If you have a TechSmith account, you can also join the Collection to follow it. To turn off notifications for a Collection, disable the <b>Notify<\/b> setting on the Collection page. <br><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-246239\" style=\"width: 312px;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.techsmith.com\/learn\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/notify-button.png\" alt=\"Disable Notify button\"><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>To follow a Collection:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Open the shared Collection link in a web browser.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sign in to <a href=\"http:\/\/app.screencast.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Screencast<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click the <strong>Join to Follow<\/strong> button. <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"manage\">Manage Access to a Collection<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Any Collection manager can set which members can view, contribute, or manage the content within the Collection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>In the Screencast Library, click to open the Collection. <br><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"200\" height=\"98\" class=\"wp-image-255513\" style=\"width: 200px;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.techsmith.com\/learn\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/Select-Collection-1.png\" alt=\"Collections section with a collection name highlighted\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.techsmith.com\/learn\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/Select-Collection-1.png 540w, https:\/\/www.techsmith.com\/learn\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/Select-Collection-1-300x147.png 300w, https:\/\/www.techsmith.com\/learn\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/Select-Collection-1-150x73.png 150w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 200px) 100vw, 200px\" \/><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click the <strong>Share<\/strong> button. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the Default Collection Permissions dropdown, select the desired permission setting for all new Collection followers.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Contributor: <\/strong>Can view media and members, add media to the Collection, and remove their own media.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Participant:<\/strong> Can only view the media in the Collection and the Collection member list.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To change an existing member&#8217;s permissions, complete one of the following:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Click the dropdown for the member and select an option:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Manager:<\/strong> Can remove members, change individual member permissions, add or remove any media, and controls the Collection privacy settings.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Contributor:  <\/strong>Can view media and members, add media to the Collection, and remove their own media.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Participant:<\/strong> Can only view the media in the Collection and the Collection member list.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To remove the member from the Collection, click the <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"20\" height=\"20\" class=\"wp-image-220687\" style=\"width: 20px;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.techsmith.com\/learn\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/removemembericon.png\" alt=\"Remove member icon\"> icon.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"notice notice-screencast\">\n\t<p><b>Note:<\/b> If you would like to prevent anyone new from viewing or joining your Collection, enable the <b>Members only<\/b> setting. <br><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-246239\" style=\"width: 399px;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.techsmith.com\/learn\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/members-only-toggle.png\" alt=\"Members only toggle\"><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"remove\">Remove Media from a Collection<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>In the Screencast Library, click to select the Collection. <br><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"200\" height=\"98\" class=\"wp-image-255513\" style=\"width: 200px;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.techsmith.com\/learn\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/Select-Collection-1.png\" alt=\"Collections section with a collection name highlighted\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.techsmith.com\/learn\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/Select-Collection-1.png 540w, https:\/\/www.techsmith.com\/learn\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/Select-Collection-1-300x147.png 300w, https:\/\/www.techsmith.com\/learn\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/Select-Collection-1-150x73.png 150w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 200px) 100vw, 200px\" \/><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click the <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"20\" height=\"20\" class=\"wp-image-220687\" style=\"width: 20px;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.techsmith.com\/learn\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/removemembericon.png\" alt=\"Remove member icon\"> icon on the media to remove. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A prompt appears.
