class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Lower quality means a lower sample rate but takes less time to generate.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Higher quality means a higher sample rate but takes more time to generate.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To edit a voice, click the <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"22\" height=\"22\" class=\"wp-image-341153\" style=\"width: Subscriptions purchased through resellers do not qualify for premium voices. All customers have access to the Default Voice collection.<\/p><\/div>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Speed:<\/strong> Controls the speed of the generated voice. Drag the slider or enter a value between 0.7 and 1.2 to slow down or speed up. Extreme values may affect the quality.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Stability:<\/strong> Controls the consistency between regenerations. Drag the slider or enter a value between 0.0 and 1.0. Increased stability can make the generated voice sound more monotone. For longer text fragments, we recommend lowering this value.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Similarity:<\/strong> Controls the similarity to the voice in the training model. Drag the slider or enter a value between 0.0 and 1.0. This property can be highly subjective; we recommend experimenting to find your optimal value.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Speaker Boost:<\/strong> Boosts the similarity of the generated speech to the training model. <div class=\"notice notice-audiate\"><p><b>Note:<\/b> This option requires more time to generate audio.<\/p><\/div><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>For Default Voices:<br><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"750\" height=\"398\" class=\"wp-image-341168\" style=\"width: 750px;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.techsmith.com\/learn\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/a26-edit-default-voice.png\" alt=\"Edit default voice dialog\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.techsmith.com\/learn\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/a26-edit-default-voice.png 928w, https:\/\/www.techsmith.com\/learn\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/a26-edit-default-voice-300x159.png 300w, https:\/\/www.techsmith.com\/learn\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/a26-edit-default-voice-768x407.png 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 750px) 100vw, 750px\" \/> \n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Style:<\/strong> Select from a variety of delivery styles, such as friendly, empathetic, or excited.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Speed:<\/strong> Controls the speed of the generated voice. Drag the slider or enter a value between 0.5 and 2.0 to slow down or speed up. Extreme values may affect the quality.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Pitch:<\/strong> Controls the tone of the generated voice. The text changes from white to yellow.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-script-updates\">Script Updates<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Audiate makes it easy to update the audio at any time. If you update the script, complete the following to regenerate the audio to match the script: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Double-click within any text section to enter Scripting mode. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Enter the desired text. For example, stage a conversation, set the tone by changing speakers between audio sections, or change the language across your audio project. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>To enter <strong>Script<\/strong> mode, double-click in a text section. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You can generate audio and apply different styles to each text section.
