Screen reader compatibility<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Interactive elements such as buttons, links, and controls in Screencast include alt text for screen reader access.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Keyboard navigation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Screencast can be navigated using the Tab<\/strong> (forward) and Shift+Tab<\/strong> (backward) buttons. As you navigate, the items will also have visible focus showing where in the interface you are currently located.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Once on the Screencast site, use the Tab<\/strong> key to navigate past the image or video content to the <\/strong>content menu.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Once you get to the \u201cContent\u201d menu option, continue past \u201cTranscript\u201d (for videos), \u201cSettings,\u201d and the close button to the \u201cAdd a comment\u201d text box.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Type in your comment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Either press Enter<\/strong> (Windows) or Return<\/strong> (Mac), or continue pressing Tab<\/strong> to navigate to the send button then press Enter<\/strong> or Return<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Make your videos accessible<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    You can also use Screencast to make your videos more accessible for others. Under \u201cSettings\u201d in the content menu, you can add captions from a transcript or even upload an audio description file from your computer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Screen magnification and font size adjustment<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    Screencast supports screen magnification with DPI scaling settings. Text size can also be adjusted via your operating system\u2019s scale settings or your monitor\u2019s DPI.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
