Select a Template and Image

Start animating an image by scrolling through the list of templates and selecting one you like. Then, select an image from your photo library, or take a new one with the camera.

If you plan to share the completed video to social media, I recommend changing the aspect ratio to square.

Animate the Image

The next step in animating your image is to add a highlight animation. Draw around the area you want to stand out, and if you select too much, choose erase to refine your selection.

To change the intensity of the animation, drag the slider, and to change the direction of the animation, tap the compass and swipe in the direction you want to animate.

Share Your Video

To share your video, tap the share button and select where you’d like to send your video. For this tutorial, I’ll select Camtasia.

To share to Camtasia, first make sure your mobile device and computer are connected to the same network. Then, open Camtasia on your computer, and select File > Connect Mobile Device. Point the Scanner in Motion at the QR code in the Camtasia, and the video you selected is sent directly to your Camtasia clip bin.
