Using An ActiveX Control to Share TSCC-encoded Videos

For TSCC compressed content delivered on the Internet, an ActiveX control is available that can be embedded in a Web page to automatically install the TSCC codec when a user lands on the page using Microsoft Internet Explorer Web browser. This very small control checks if TSCC needs to be installed or updated and if so, downloads and installs it.

This Web page has the TSCC ActiveX object embedded within its HTML. If you did not have the TSCC codec installed on your desktop, you should have been prompted to install it when this Web page loaded.

Once the TSCC codec has been installed on your desktop, you should have no problem viewing the following video: Camtasia Studio Recorder Tutorial

You can easily embed TSCC as an object within a Web page. Within the body of the Web doc include the following TSCC object code before you have your users download and play your Camtasia video:
