There are several ways to use Camtasia videos in your LMS. Exporting a SCORM package from Camtasia and uploading the package into your LMS is the most comprehensive option, but there are simpler ways as well, each offering convenience and flexibility.
A SCORM package is an all-in-one zipped file that includes your video file, the TechSmith Smart Player, closed captions, table of contents, and in-video quizzes. SCORM packages can even report student performance metrics directly to your LMS gradebook.
Note: Viewers’ responses and raw scores are now sent to the LMS. This includes viewers’ short answer responses, fill in the blank responses, and the selected answer (reported as the answer index number) for multiple choice questions.
Each LMS accepts SCORM packages a little differently, so check with your LMS administrator to learn how and where to upload SCORM packages in your particular LMS.

If your Camtasia video is only part of a course assignment, consider a video link or embedded video HTML to add the video to the LMS.
Video hosting sites like Screencast (upload up to 25 videos for free) or YouTube provide a direct link (or video embed code) that can be used in most LMS content editors.

For your consideration:
See Sharing & Privacy on Screencast.
Many learning management systems allow the direct upload of MP4 files. Videos added this way will play back in the student’s web browser using the default browser video player, or a media player embedded in the LMS.
