Package & Share Camtasia Editor Resources

Create a Camtasia Package (.campackage) to:

• Share assets with others to quickly create consistent and professional videos.
• Deploy brand assets and resources across multiple computers, teams, or organizations.
• Back up your Camtasia Editor resources.

Packages can include: templates, shortcuts, libraries, themes, tool presets, and export presets.

Export a Package

Export a Camtasia Package (.campackage) to share the video resources you used, such as templates and asset libraries, to quickly create consistent and professional videos.

1. Open a new or existing project in Camtasia Editor.
2. Select File > Export > Package.
3. The Package Manager appears. Select the Camtasia Editor resources to export.
   
4. Click Export.
5. Enter a package name and click Save.
   Camtasia Editor saves the .campackage file. To open the Camtasia Package on another computer, see Import a Package.

Import a Package

Import a Camtasia Package (.campackage) to add video resources such as templates, shortcuts, libraries, themes, tool presets, and export presets into Camtasia Editor.

1. Open a new or existing project in Camtasia Editor.
2. Select File > Import > Package.
3. Select the Camtasia Package file (.campackage) to import and click Open.
4. Click Replace (Windows and Mac), Skip (Windows and Mac), or Keep Both (Mac only) if prompted in the progress dialog.
5. A dialog appears and displays a list of imported resources. Click OK.
   Camtasia Editor imports the selected resources.
