Produce and Share an MP4 Video

Use Camtasia Studio's Web production preset to create an MP4 video with just two clicks through the Production Wizard.

The Web preset is optimized to give you a high quality, low file size MP4 file ready to upload to the Web.

Produce an MP4 Video

  1. After recording, within Recorder's Preview Window, click Produce.

    -Or-

    Within Camtasia Studio, click Produce and Share.
    Click the Produce and Share button.

    The Production Wizard appears.

  2. The default Web preset is the best choice to create and MP4 video based on your recording dimensions, editing dimensions and content on the timeline. Click Next.
  3. In the Production name field, give your video a name.
  4. Click Finish. The rendering process begins.
    When rendering is complete, the Production Results screen appears. This is an overview listing the specifics of your video such as files created, duration, file size, etc.
  5. Click Finish to close the Production Wizard. Your MP4 video is now ready to upload to the web or embed in your LMS, CMS, blog, and more.
